Meet us at FOWD NYC and BarCamp Philly

PipeJump will be sponsoring two great events this week. The first is BarCamp in Philadelphia which will be held tomorrow. The second is Future Of Web Design in New-York on the 16th and 17th of November. In FOWD, look forward for a small competition that we are going to hold.  On the day of the conference, whoever will send @pipejump the most and best business tips for design firm and designers will have a chance to win a Kindle.

Also, we partnered with Carsonified and BarCamp Philly to provide attendees with a promotional price for our Solo and Team plans. Get ready to take advantage of that.

See you there.

PipeJump vs. Salesforce – Effectiveness Benchmark

If you had a chance to look into PipeJump, you must have noticed our effort to make it very simple and, thus, effective. We had put a lot of time into thinking and planning how the basic actions should feel like. Adding a deal and moving a deal between stages are the most common tasks in every sales app. We aim at delivering the most simple and effective product out there, a “sales app for busy people”.  Hence, we decided to benchmark ourselves against another popular sales management tool  – Salesforce.

We knew that using PipeJump is much simpler and takes substantially less time. Still, we were amazed by the staggering outcome of our experiment. In fact, the results were so powerful, that we decided to shoot a video to demonstrate the difference:

That’s right. PipeJump is 3.5 faster than Salesforce in completing the most common tasks. But what does it mean?

Think about it for a moment. If you spend 2 hours a week with your sales software, you can save up to 75 hours per year! That’s 8 days of work. Now go grab your PipeJump Plan and check out some vacation deals to the Caribbean on Expedia.com – you deserve it.

PipeJump Just Got Even Better

Can you smell the freshness?

We have just released a new version which includes some major updates as well as some additional design tweaks to simplify the interface.

So, now you can:

  • Move deals quicker – we have updated the PipeJump interface so you can now move deals really quick between the different stages.
  • Set you own currency – you can now choose between 6 currencies on PipeJump: USD, Pound, Euro, Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar and Japanese Yen.
  • Get your winner message – we felt that if you win a deal, you deserve some warm words. This is why we decided to add the “You made it” message which will appear whenever you win a deal.

As with all of our work on PipeJump till now, the most important thing for us was to keep PipeJump simple and effective.

We keep working on the next update (with some very delicious additions)  and hope that you enjoy this one.

A Great List of Sales Books

SalesHQ featured this week a fantastic list of the top twenty sales books ever. Being such business books and specifically sales books fanatics as we are, we really enjoyed this list.

We would like to share with you our top three favorite books from this list:

  • Little Red Book of Selling (by Jeffrey Gitomer) – This was one of the books which inspired us when we started the PipeJump journey. Some very strong straight forward tips. It is all about becoming a real sales winner.
  • Secrets of Closing the Sale (by Zig Zigler) – It’s all about getting to YES! in this classic book of one of our favorite authors ever.
  • How to Win Friends and Influence People (by Dale Carnegie) – Written 70 years ago, this is the best book about dealing with people. And sales is all about dealing with people.

If you are into sales and you haven’t read this book yet, please order your copies todays. In one of those books, in one of its chapters, there will be a single phrase. This phrase might change the way you sell forever. IT MIGHT EVEN CHANGE YOUR LIFE!
